Early in her career, Erin worked under the mentorship of highly regarded physiotherapists in Vancouver, treating a diverse population of patients. She gained expertise in discovering the underlying cause of patient’s pain or dysfunction and how to empower them with education and exercise prescription.
When not treating patients, you can find Erin outdoors, biking, running, hiking, snowboarding or surfing. Participating in sports at an early age, she went on to work with teams at local and national levels in football, soccer and figure skating. Presently, Erin is the physiotherapist for the Canadian National Snowboard Big Air/Slope Style and Half-pipe teams.
In addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Physiology and Pharmacology and a Master’s of Physiotherapy, Erin’s other certifications include IMS dry needling and concussion rehabilitation and has taken advanced courses on the shoulder and mid-back.
After 2 recent knee surgeries, Erin appreciates the frustrations of being injured and the recovery process. As a result, she has a passion for treating knee injuries and keeping current with the latest research.
