“I chose massage therapy as a second career after seeing first-hand the positive effect it had on me. I wanted to see those benefits for others.” - Luther

Meet Luther
“I would have to say legs, particularly in relation to Patello-femoral syndrome. Working on shoulder issues is something else I feel I'm good at and enjoy doing” - Luther
Luther McLain is a graduate of British Columbia’s 3,000 hour massage program, and has been practicing since 2006. He is a current member of The National Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC).
He has a broad range of experience, and success, in treating musculo-skeletal issues which arise from common postural habits, accidents, or sports injuries.
His knowledge of sports physiology and anatomy, coupled with a background in distance running, boxing, cycling, and mountain sports make him a great resource for athletes managing training programs.
When he is not helping clients achieve their goals, he can be found climbing frozen waterfalls with friends or on one of his bikes exploring North America’s backcountry, always with a camera in hand and a book on the go.
I've been fortunate to work with Luther as my massage therapist for a number of years and couldn't be happier. Luther works with me to identify issues and target areas of concern so that I can maintain a healthy lifestyle and stay active. He is professional and knowledgeable and really cares about his clients.” - Nicole
I am very grateful to my sports massage therapist Luther McLain for treating an assortment of issues in my hips, hamstrings, calves and feet. I started treatment with Luther last year when I was struggling with plantar fasciitis, and as a 56-year-old ultramarathon runner I was beginning to think my running days could be drawing to a close. However, thanks to regular treatments by Luther I am back training and competing again and feeling very positive about the future. - Carl, 56 ultramarathon runner
