Orthotics in Motion
Patrick Bergevin, outdoor enthusiast and proud father of three, has been part of THE Downtown Sports Clinics' team since 2003. What fuels his passion for pedorthics is his patients' reaction to the information he shares, and his strong drive to find solutions. He strives to offer the best experience in foot orthotics.
Finding a career path from a summer position in pedorthics, he headed west in 2000, joined Orthotics In Motion in 2002, and acquired the company in 2004. Skiing and snowboarding have been lifelong passions, and he found that pedorthics allowed him to blend boot-fitting knowledge into value added services. Cycling, mountain biking, hiking, running and golf are also activities he has drawn upon to enhance his pedorthic knowledge, though he enjoys seeing patients from all walks of life. Patrick sees patients every Thursday morning at THE Downtown Sports Clinics – Barclay Centre location. He enjoys working closely with our physiotherapists, to share ideas and improve patient outcome.

Orthotics in Motion became my “go to'” for orthotics after I developed a large cyst on my right ankle. I was unable to golf without severe pain and swelling. Patrick took on the challenge to make an orthotic for my foot, and what an incredible difference it has made in my comfort level and my golf game.
Sure, it didn't make me a scratch golfer but I no longer have pain or swelling and that orthotic goes with me to every game. Thanks Patrick. - Val
Years ago, I sang country music at a Stampede breakfast and was on my feet for 4 hours a day, 5 days in a row. It seems the years of running in less-than-adequate footwear finally took its toll, and I developed a lot of pain in my ankles and legs. That’s when I first heard about Orthotics in Motion. I was amazed to learn that something as small as the orthotic they produced could make such a difference. As we age our body changes and every change affects our feet. A small adjustment to my appliance has a tremendous influence on my whole body. I wear them in my slippers, dress and casual shoes and most definitely in my golf shoes. I can walk the six miles it takes to golf with no pain in my legs or ankles. - Grant N.
