Julie Moylan – Medical
PT - Director, BSc Grad Dip Physio, TPI Certified
Julie is a co-owner of THE Downtown Sports Clinics and the Director of the TD Square clinic. Her special interests in clinical practice include golf-related injuries, keeping the aging athlete mobile, and treating knee injuries and chronic knee pain.
Over the past 25 years, Julie has lectured extensively to the medical community and fitness industry on injury prevention, muscle balance, posture and rehabilitation of knee injuries.
Julie has a BSc in Anatomy from the University of NSW and a Graduate Diploma in Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney. In 1982 she traded the beach life in Australia for the excitement of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. She continues to enjoy all mountain sports in both summer and winter, along with golf, tennis, sailing and most importantly, regular strength training.
Julie is part of the Performance Golf Calgary team, comprised of Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) certified professionals who work together to help enhance the golf experience from tee to green. Over the years, Julie has worked with all kinds of golfers, from those who want to improve their performance, to those who are injured and want to get back playing golf. For over 15 years, THE Downtown Sports Clinics were FITforeGolf affiliates, with Julie completing Levels 1 – 4. Julie became TPI certified in 2010.
Morgan Allan – Medical
PT - BKin, MPhty, TPI Certified
With her strong competitive sporting background, Morgan developed a keen interest in the management of sports-related injuries after suffering a number of them herself. She understands that sports can mean many things to different people and believes that prevention and care of injuries is paramount to sound physical and mental well-being.
After completing her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Alberta, she attended the University of Sydney, Australia where she obtained a Master of Physiotherapy degree. She worked in a private practice clinic in Sydney before joining THE Downtown Sports Clinics.
Building on her Australian education and training, Morgan incorporates hands-on therapy and exercise rehabilitation into her treatments. In consult with her patients, she develops objectives and goals that help them return to full involvement in their sport or daily activities as quickly as possible.
An avid golfer herself, Morgan takes a special interest in treating a variety of golf related injuries. She is a TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) certified medical professional and enjoys working with golfers of all abilities to improve their golf game through the correction of biomechanical faults, and the prevention and relief of pain.
In her spare time, Morgan enjoys golfing skiing, running, badminton and fitness activities of all kinds
Evan Baldwin – Medical

Evan obtained his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy (MScPT) from the University
of Alberta (UofA) in 2008. Previous to his training as a Physical Therapist Evan
completed a Masters Degree in Neuroscience (MSc) in 2005 at the UofA and a
Bachelor of Physical Education (BPE) in 2003 at the UofA as well. Evan was certified
in acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute in 2010 and
continues work towards his Advanced Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Therapy
through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Most recently, Evan has his TPI Level
1 Certification from the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI).
Evan believes strongly in integrating his knowledge of how the nervous system controls
the body, with current evidence based treatment techniques in order to provide a
comprehensive rehabilitation program for his clients. Of course, home exercises are
essential to an expedient recovery, and an active rehabilitation program is the core of
Evan’s treatment philosophy.
Evan has been an avid golfer since the age of 12 and has worked as a caddy at the
provincial and national levels for both junior and amateur golfers. He is excited to
combine his knowledge of the game with his theoretical understanding of human
movement, injury prevention, and rehabilitation in order for his clients to get the most out
of their game.
Dr. Ryan Emmons – Medical

Dr. Ryan Emmons is the owner of Cadence Sports Therapy. He obtained an honoursdegree in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
Dr. Emmons has seven years experience with golf physical screens, golf exercise prescription and golf performance and injury therapy. Dr. Emmons has been focused ongolf performance since 2005 when he became a Golf Performance Therapist, certifiedand educated by Dr. Craig Davies, author of Golf Anatomy, and Sean Foley, GolfInstructor. Dr. Emmons’ Golf Performance Therapies consist of Chiropractic, ActiveRelease Techniques®, Graston® Technique, KinesioTape, and Medical Acupuncture.
Dr. Emmons moved to Calgary in 2007 where he developed and directed the Golfitt Golf Performance Program and the Golfitt Golf Performance Trainer Certification. This program was spotlighted in The Calgary Herald and on Shaw Sports Network. Mostrecently, Dr. Emmons became TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) certified and joinedthe Performance Golf Calgary team.
Dr. Emmons’ clientele consists of junior, amateur and professional golfers. He has beeninvolved with running golf training camps for Canadian Juniors and presentations toGolf Professionals and golfers and has published numerous golf performance articles innational golf magazines. Dr. Emmons has also published the Roll Release Foam Roller Techniques foam rolling instruction book and ebook.

Kevin Klein – Fitness

Kevin is the owner and director of Vital Edge Active Health Inc. fitness facility located on the Currie Barracks in Calgary. His focus on personal training include golf specific programming; corrective exercise development; active rehabilitation; general fitness; as well as group exercise classes in the areas of boxing and golf conditioning.
In the past 16 years as a health and fitness specialist Kevin has built up his extensive clientele at the Glencoe Club as well as Vital Edge Active Health Inc. His group includes a variety of individuals with specific training and fitness goals in mind to improve their athletic conditioning or just overall health and wellness. Kevin believes that forming a habit of exercise to make it a part of your everyday life is the basis in fulfilling anything and everything you wish to accomplish.
Kevin has a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Calgary and has been certified through the National Sports and Conditioning Association since 1996. Becoming Titlest Performance Institute Certified as a golf fitness instructor in 2008 has helped launch Edge Golf Performance at Vital Edge to help increase active mobility and specific strength of many golf fitness participants over the past 2 years. In his spare time, Kevin enjoys many activities which include functional strength training, running, biking, snowshoeing and golf.

Shannon Mantrop – Fitness/Golf

Shannon is the Head CPGA Teaching professional at Priddis Greens Golf and Country Club and is a Golf Fitness Specialist with her company Dynamic Motion Professional Fitness and Golf Instruction.
Shannon grew her passion for golf performance as a varsity golfer for the University of Western Ontario while studying Kinesiology. After graduating from UWO Shannon became a member of the CPGA and continued her education at the University of Calgary with a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology specializing in golf research and performance.
Since graduate school Shannon has also become a major supporter of the Titleist Performance Institute and its philosophy. She has since become certified as a level 3 TPI Golf Instructor, Level 2 TPI Junior Coach and a Level 2 TPI Golf Biomechanist. Shannon also attended the 2010 World Golf Fitness Summit in Orlando, Florida.
Shannon brings knowledge, experience and passion to golf performance and thrives on seeing her golfers succeed through lower scores, improved technique and decreased pain. Shannon’s philosophy is that everyone has their own unique efficient golf swing that is based on their physical abilities. It is her mission to help her clients achieve this swing through individualized golf fitness and golf instruction programs.

Jay Myren – Golf Instruction

Jay is the Director of Instruction at the Golf Canada Calgary Centre. Jay has more than 20 years experience teaching golf and enjoys working with golfers of any age, gender and ability. He believes success will follow anyone who is enthusiastically committed to learning and training through purposeful, focused practice. Throughout his career Jay has continued to research and employ cutting edge technologies and disciplines to ensure his students are always current and learning with the best the industry has to offer. This is evident as he was the first Albertan to be certified by the Titleist Performance Institute and remains one of the highest TPI certified professionals in the province. Using a physical screening process to identify and isolate physical limitations, he evaluates swing technique and prescribes customized swing coaching for each student.

Brian Kollman – Golf Instruction

Brian is originally from Hanna Alberta and joined the Canadian PGA in 1988. He spent his first ten years as an associate professional at the Priddis Greens Golf and Country Club and later moved onto what is now called the Golf Canada Centre. Through the years Brian has quietly gained a wealth of knowledge and an intense desire to help players better their game. Brian has an incredibly natural ability to have a steadying and positive influence on his students. He understands the golf swing in all of its complexities but communicates this with style and ease.
Brian is a certified level 2 TPI Golf Instructor and has recently received his green reading certification from AimPoint. Brian’s calm and steady personality works well with a large variety of people and he adapts well to different learning styles. He enjoys working with all levels of players from entry level to elite players.

Jason Haley – Golf Instruction

Jason Haley has been a CPGA member for the last 7 year and has been a teaching professional at the Golf Canada Centre since 2006. Jason’s main focus has been working with and developing junior golfers. He has coached the Strive for Excellence High Performance Junior Golf Program for the past 3 years. The Strive For Excellence program was designed to elevate young players golf games to the next level through a year round program that includes Semi-Private lessons, groups practices, physical fitness, mental and emotional training and on course coaching.
Jason is a Certified TPI Level 1 Golf Fitness Instructor and a TPI level 2 Junior Coach and will be completing level 3 Junior Coach late this fall. He has also attended the David Leadbetter club professional training program. He prides himself in keeping up with the latest developments in golf and also continually looks for better ways to communicate and teach his students with the use of up to date digital video and computer technology. As well as being a strong competitive player within the APGA, Jason has had the opportunity to work and teach a long side some of the regions most recognized golf professionals.

Jamie Reimer – Golf Instruction
Canadian PGA Teaching Professional TPI-JC2
Jamie is the newest member of the Golf Canada Centre team. While playing competitive junior golf throughout Western Canada, Jamie was a member of the 2004 Alberta Junior Interprovincial Team and was selected to play on the University of Victoria Vikings golf team. Jamie’s passion for golf is exhibited as he currently holds the titles CJGA Alberta Tournament Director and New Competitive Player Coach.
In 2008 Jamie became a member of the Canadian PGA as the PAT low medalist. Jamie is a Level 1 TPI Certified Golf Fitness Instructor as well as a Level 2 TPI Certified Junior Coach. Jamie has a high interest in fitness, and continues his involvement in TPI to add-on to his education and to stay up to date with current studies and information. In addition Jamie’s educational background in psychology and interest in the mental aspects of the game brings another dimension to his teaching approach. He enjoys working with golfers of all abilities who are enthusiastic and committed to improving their game.
