Michael Dale – BSc, RMT
After graduating from the University of Toronto in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science, and 16 years following the family tradition of engineering, Mike looked to healthcare in 1994 to make a bigger difference in people's lives.
Graduating from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Ontario, Mike became a Clinical Educator in the stroke and traumatic brain injuries units at a teaching research hospital in Toronto. Over the past 12 years, he has written and taught curriculum for massage therapy colleges in physiology, pathology and advanced clinical treatments in Ontario and Alberta.
Mike has a firm commitment to raising the standards and providing mentorship for the next generation of massage therapists in Canada. He is on the Board of Directors of the Massage Therapy Association of Alberta (MTAA), is a published author, is on the examination committee for the MTAA, and has served as an expert witness.
Mike enjoys the challenge of a complex patient who has had limited success in finding relief elsewhere. His strengths are critical thinking, logical process and outcome orientation.
Mike's passions are canoeing and wilderness tripping. Since moving to Alberta, skiing, canoeing, mountain horseback riding, volunteer work and his grandchildren take up his free time.
